My opinion about : SEO: The Free Beginner’s Guide | SEOmoz the first part "SEO: The Free Beginner’s Guide", give a summary with all the basic thinks like:

* How search engines operate?: It show us in simple words how search engines like google works, what they are use for? (to create answer)

*How people interact with Search engines?: This chapter provide a simple guide for a user in order to search answer in a search engines. One of the think I was very impressed are the numbers of google vs the others search engines (90.62 percent). It mean, if you want to be on customers mind you have to be in google. and the numbers of CTR are awesome compares vs bing (The total average CTR for first ten results was 52.32% for Google and 26.32% for Bing) to be on page 1 must be made in subsequent chapters strategies were developed in a more complex.

*Why search engines marketing its necessary?: On this chapter teach us the importance to do online marketing, some benefits and limitations of seo. The part of limiation that take my attention was..all the problems came from technical limitations of the system. they are 3:

    1. Spidering and Indexing Problems: for example the duplicate content in some sites. I really dont understand the part of robot.txt they use technical language of system engineer cause I dont really know how use robot.txt, how uploaded, how modify, etc.?¿?¿
     2. Content to Query Matching: some people use different words to find a product the example was good (writing about "food cooling units" when people actually search for "refrigerators")
     3. The "Tree Falls in a Forest": it mean if your site doesnt have a good content or relevant content the search engine will ignore your site, cause the site cannot generate popularity and do not deserve to be on first page.

* The basic of search engine friendly design and development: This is very interesting chapter cause the article provide you a simple guide in order the web designer built a good, simple and friendly web site. some of the tips are: do not use flash, video without description, gift or images with out alt attributes, and change the boses navigation stuff with links. the chapter tried to let us know how we see the website and how the search engines see the web site. (through browser and through cache) The keyword Importance, the meta tags importance, title tags, meta tags are some thinks that i would like to learn. unfortunally I know how to search a keyword but I dont know how place meta tag or place a title (to me they are engineer jargons)

* Keywords Research: The MOST interested chapter for me. on this chapter the article give us a guide about .. How select the best keywords? and which tools are used to search the keywords? * how usability experience and content affect search engine Rankings?: The chapter continue with tips about aesthetics should be a web designer create a friendly site.

*Growing popularity and links: The main topic is.. what is a link? what it is use for? and some example. article of this chapters its to technical cause it give you how to reach succesful links but if you are not related in this topic you will feel know how improve a link ! but have no idea how to place on the site?¿ link: is text or images on a website that a user can click to access or connect to another document * Search engine tools and service: It mention the Common tools:

1.Sitemaps: Sitemaps help search engines find and classify content on your site that they may not have found on their own Two important hints of Sitemaps are:

1.1. XML: It help to provide standard or common way to describe the information on the site
1.2. RSS: Is web feed formats used to publish frequently updated works
1.3. Txt: Text File, easy and The text sitemap format is one URL per line up to 50,000 lines.

2 Robots.txt: I understand how it works but I would like to learn about how it uploaded etc.

3. Meta Robots: the same I would like to deal more with those tools.

4. Rel="Nofollow":the same I would like to deal more with those tools.

5. Rel="canonical":the same I would like to deal more with those tools.

* Myths and mysconceptions: The most intereste part of this chapter is getting penalties lifted. "The task of requesting re-consideration or re-inclusion in the engines is painful and often unsuccessful. It's also rarely accompanied by any feedback to let you know what happened or why. However, it is important to know what to do in the event of a penalty or banning".

they provides 7 tips that are to large to mention on this summary, but the final message it`s great "Be aware that with the search engines, lifting a penalty is not their obligation or responsibility. Legally, they have the right to include or reject any site/page for any reason. Inclusion is a privilege, not a right, so be cautious and don't apply techniques you're unsure or skeptical of - or you could find yourself in a very rough spot"

*Measuring and tracking of your SEO strategy: Its nice read this part of the the article cause mention one of the task I do on the company. Reports, position of the website per keywords (vseo), reports of google listing.

CONCLUSSION I recognize that it is impossible for a single person is responsible for the optimization of a website because there are many steps to correct optimization and how we can make mistakes we are human. That's why companies hire websites like us to save time and money
